What to expect

Little White House Learning Center offers large open classrooms that encourage curiosity and exploration. We understand that children learn and develop through play, therefore, provide developmentally appropriate creative materials and activities. Basic skills are enhanced through social, emotional, cognitive and physical interaction.

Our terrific threes and fours programs begin the moment your child steps through the door. You and your child are greeted by our warm friendly staff to start their day in a cheerful and loving manner. This is a great opportunity for parents to have communication with teachers.

Our staff sets weekly goals. The curriculum is enhanced through literature, song, music and movement, and art. Our hands-on approach enables children to explore and learn about the world around them. We encourage self help and independence to achieve a healthy sense of self esteem.

Children are inquisitive by nature and we encourage them to ask questions and learn about the world they live in.

Communication between the school and parent is important. We utilize developmental profiles during the school year to assess children's growth socially, emotionally, and academically. Our parent center is a great way for families to find out what concepts will be introduced weekly and what events will be taking place.
